Re: Not good enough
Massive fan of Adrian both as a player and person. But Saturday cost us two points, and its not the first howler this season.

Randolph deserves a chance. Has performed well every time he has been given a game and has waited patiently enough.

No dis-respect mate; but passing any blame to anyone else bu Adrian, especially James Collins who was right there, is laughable.

I think even Adrian would laugh at that.

Re: Not good enough
Adrian is suffering a loss of confidence, due no doubt to having a pretty useless defence in front of him most of the time. He would never have come out as he did for the Stoke goal, had a defender with more pace than James Collins been closest to the attacker. At least he does not hide on his goal-line, and when our defence gets a bit more solid he will recover form in my opinion.

Very true.

Re: Not good enough
the goalkeeping problems are really not being helped by the fact we are still waiting for a striker to score at the other end nearly half way through November ! , a couple of bad mistakes would have not got the attention if we had gone on to win the Watford and Stoke games .

Sod all this Adrian talk, I want to hear more about the train service from Norwich.

Re: Not good enough
He is a shot stopper but nowadays you have to do much more,we have had some good keepers and we need another,Randolph should be given a chance but I have doubts also,we missed out onButland for £4million too 😩

Trouble is mate I think Adrian has looked a little lost at times this season and got away with it. He's been a bit flappy at corners and crosses. And as others have said he doesn't seem to be commanding at the moment.

I know what you mean though about keepers. Bit of a vicious circle. They play poorly and make a clanger. They lose confidence. So to then drop them could do more damage to confidence. But then how long do you go on risking a keeper losing you points?

I think you are right though. Maybe just too early to drop the fella but he needs to seriously buck his ideas up.

Re: Not good enough
Think most keepers would have struggled in the Watford game with that shower of shit in front of them.

Re: Not good enough
He should have been dropped after the Watford game.
Two goals were down to him.Bilic won't though he'd rather they play back into form

Re: Not good enough
Adrian has made one fuck up hasn't he?

I'll sit tight and hope we keep the likes of Sakho and Carroll fit between now and the end of the year and we'll be on 20 points before end of dec

the problem is we get them back our tight owners will gamble and not buy and they'll be dead on Feb the 1st

Re: Not good enough
I like both Adrian and Randy. I have no real problem with Randy getting a go but to be honest I don't think Adrian deserves to be dropped just yet. With keepers you have to be very careful, probably more so than any other part of the pitch. I like what Bilic has said.

That said, I think Randolph was pretty poor against Swansea, Man Utd and Stoke at the end of last season. Seems to have been brushed under the carpet though.

Re: Not good enough
I'm not a fan of RANDOLPH much neither.

I think in this case Adrian might have played his way out of the team though.

I saw Etherington on sky yesterday saying he reckons Adrian should be dropped. Close mate of Collins isn't he? Probably Randolph's as well....drinking buddies and all that.

Re: Not good enough
Randolph seems to get better the less he plays.

My favourite type of player.

Re: Not good enough
Adrian doesn't inspire confidence, doesn't command his box flaps at corners good shot stopper but I'm looking for his next mistake which will cost us points.
Time for Randolph to have a go.

Re: Not good enough
He had a howler against Spurs a few years ago when 2-0 up.

To be honest, I think Randolph deserves his chance, because other than a ropey period during last seasons Europe League games and pre-season before then, he's been solid.

Russ of the BML 3:23 Mon Nov 7
Re: Not good enough
I must admit if I was manager I'd give Randolph a run out. Adrian looks like he's lost a bit of confidence and needs a break.

Not sure what Noble has to do with it. He did a lot more than several of our other so called superstars.

As hair goes he's Number 1 at West Ham for sure.

But he's got fucking brilliant hair.

I'm in.

Re: Not good enough
Adrian's cost us more points this season than he's won.

Cracking save against Bournemouth probably kept a clean sheet to be fair, but Watford and Stoke....fucking hell they're absolute shit mistakes to make.
